Who Are We?
Pink Out Week (POW) at Stillwater High School is our way of raising money and awareness for breast cancer. Since 2010 we have raised over $28,000 and have encouraged our community to get involved. 100% of proceeds from POW go to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for cancer research in Oklahoma City. Pink Out Week is celebrated one week during the month of October each year to raise money and for breast cancer awareness
Pink Out Week is sponsored and run by the officers and members of the local Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapter at Stillwater High. FCCLA is a Career and Technical Student Organization sponsored by Family and Consumer Sciences Education. FCCLA is the only student organization with family as the central focus, and it is a national organization with over 200,000 members made up of students from 6th to 12th grade.
